Lifeguarding without training?

So I just started working at a country club today and they put me as like a semi-lifeguard. I sit in the chair by the shallow end and I watch over the kiddie pool sometimes too. I have the lifeguarding suit and shirt and everything. What do I do if someone needs help? I've been a competitive swimmer for 8 years now and I probably am the best swimmer on staff but this is just confusing. The most I probably have to worry about is a baby tipping over which I can handle but I guess I'm just nervous about what could happen. Does anyone have any advice?
