What does FFA mean in Uncharted 3 Beta?

When I'm at the main menu for U3 Beta, I see Co-op Loads outs, Competitive Layouts, etc.. Though under Villain Appearance and Hero Appearance it says "FFA" Character .... Hero or Villain! What does this mean?
